Hope

A word used time and again and spoken without understanding the true meaning of it, is hope.
When the word hope is said, a question arises, do we really need it?

In your first instance you'd probably be like, "Duh!, hell yes!"

Me being myself, thought another way.
What if I say, "We don't need hope?", You'd think of me as a lunatic.

What I feel is if, and I emphasise on if,

What if having hope from the start was the thing that made us vulnerable in the first place? Maybe without hope, we wouldn't ever be let down by our own optimism?⚡️
We wouldn't have felt bad for assuming a thing to happen! However much you like to hope, this line must've challenged you.

Maybe if there was no hope, there wouldn't have been any disappointment.
Let's face it, being optimistic is being hopeful.

Lets remember one thing, we are talking in the context of what if.
So I can only, by the extent of my blog, challenge you to think differently.
But I can't forcefully make y'all think about a non-existing realm.

So what does HOPE stand for? - Hope-  Holding On and Perishing/Promoting Edification.
(According to me)

i)Holding On : When you are optimistic, you hold on to the thing you're optimistic about, right? We tend to hold on to those things, till they are fulfilled. We can hope to face a great weekend, so we'll continuously be eager for the weekend right? That displays that we hold on to the things that we hope for.

ii)Promoting : Now the question arises, what can hope have, to offer to us? The hard truth about it is, it can only promote optimism. There really isn't another blessing, that it can offer. But that promotion of emotions in us is the sole reason that keeps us alive and healthy right?

iii)Edification : What does hope do? It makes us stronger, every day of our lives, as we hope to live the next day better than the previous one. It is the reason keeping us from falling apart. Be it a heartbreak, a death, even good things, like a first date.
Hope is an error, as humans tend to take it for granted.

Lets say hope is keeping us alive, but is also the source of dissatisfaction and disappointment.⚡️

A thing so good and so bad.
Still we choose to hope.
Something adds up here?
Nothing.
Lets hope to find the legitimate reason for hoping?

It is our will to be eager for far greater and better things. Think about it, whatever you have right now, you are hoping for better things right? If you disagree and believe your life is perfect, think once again, somewhere in your conscience, realisation will hit you. If it does, my aim as being a writer gets fulfilled.

If you're expecting something, l hope for it to happen very soon.😊

Solidarity or Solitary?

on the 10th day, you do look back,  and you see traces of your steps following you on that same muddy trail, and you have returned to that place, you aren't shocked seeing them, thinking they are not yours, you see your footprint, carved in the mud, its of a shoe, and you are wearing flip-flops now. you look down at your feet, knowing you have fresh footprints you are about to leave ahead, which will not match the previous ones, and you think, anyone else who witnesses these two sets of footprints, if they get as far in the mud as yourself, will not know they are the same person's. you realise nobody will know, nobody will know of those 10 days, but you do not stop realising there,  you go further to think that nobody might even care to differentiate. where you stand now, you see you are not far from that cliff, which you had seen 10 days before,  you are exactly where you left your journey, you are exactly where you turned back. somehow this time, you aren't as prepared...

On the Door

everyday at half past 4 i keep my ears on the door. trying to wonder what your footsteps would have sounded like, trying to figure out was it my fault some night? everyday at half past 4 i keep my ears on the door. I often wonder why you walked out that night, Although i haven’t seen you ever, You leaving, surely does click my memory.   my mother has often talked about you, but only unintentionally. every time she is reminded of some hilarious memories of both of you, the smile on her face is drawn carefully,   and is even fragile, which fades away, because you walked out one night.   Father, I wanted to tell you something, I wanted to tell you that i realised something great today. That is, even if you don’t know a person, or haven’t met them ever, that person can be remembered.   In fact you can even be missed.   my mother had told me that you had left early in the morning,   around four, ...

Most Weapons Made Are Never Used

Looking at the hue in the sky, observing the tranquility it has to offer, sometimes one can wonder, were the skies always so serene? has there always been existence, of opportunities that convey, simple leisure to whirl up our imagination, to see what figures we create out of nothing? or has the world been taut between endless wars, wars that don't allow much comfort, that we may look up and appreciate the variety of hues. a tendentious reading of history, has shown how wars have been recurrent, and how weapons were forged accordingly. what a writer's mind might wander into, is the inevitable process of thinking about the weapons that were forged. what you observe in the museums, and oftentimes, in contemporary news, is how lethal weapons are designed, but are barely used, and oftentimes never used up to their full potential. hoping to fathom what their true abilities might be, a weakening kick to the senses make us grave, because some of those might not see the daylight.  it t...
